Stephen Curry is having an incredible season and there is no doubt about it. Curry is currently 33 years old, with others believing that he is in his prime right now. Being named November Player of The Month, and averaging 24.3 points a game, Stephen Curry is drawing all eyes on him during the 2021- 2022 NBA MVP race.

Right now, the top 5 players competing for the award are Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic, DeMar DeRozan, and Lamelo Ball. Although all players have had tremendous performances during this year’s season, no player has been in the spotlight more than Curry. He has led the Warriors to an accomplishing season thus far, with a record of 17-3. Curry is leading the Warriors in assists and points. Not only does he average 24.3 points a game, but also averages 6.5 assists. Stephen Curry is a great team player and reliable when needed. His expertise in shooting and his wide-ranged knowledge of the game is why he deserves to be MVP this season.

Basketball teammate Cynthia Gallegos says that she wishes to see Stephen Curry with the MVP award because he is the best shooter in the league and is clutch. Gallegos said, “Stephen Curry has been balling out this season and I know more greatness from him is to come. There is no doubt in my mind he won’t win MVP.” Just like Gallegos, many people from across the world share the same opinion. The poll on “NBA.com” is showing that Curry is the most favorited in the race right now. Millions of people are voting for Curry, as they rightfully should.

It’s still quite early in the season, but as of right now, Stephen Curry is my NBA MVP vote, and I believe he will stay that way.
