  • Student Council Spirit Night (9/16) from 5 to 8 pm. Worth 5 STUCO points for attending.
  • Homecoming tickets will be on sale starting this week with Bob at the main campus and Ms. Lozano at the Magnet Center. This week the tickets will be $35.
  • Herf Jones, the graduation company will be on campus Wednesday, September 18th from 12 pm to 5 pm. As well as Saturday, September 21st from 9 am to 12 pm to take orders for cap & gowns, class rings, letterman jackets, and invitations. Deposit required for a class ring is $80 and $180 for senior orders. Ask about senior packages and how you could get a free cap and gown.
  • The Franklin Girls Soccer team is having a spirit night a Chipotle tomorrow from 4-8pm at the West Towne Marketplace location.
  • Homecoming mums or garters from the Franklin PTSA to show your school spirit. Deadline to order is September 24th. Come to magnet room 122 for more details.
  • Youth For Christ will be starting on Wednesday, September 18, during lunch in room North-283. Also, See You At The Pole will be the following Wednesday on September 25 @ 8:00 am at the front of the school.
  • Last preliminary meeting for those people interested in Mock Trial in Ms. Cundari’s Room 157 (Magnet) on Tuesday, September 17 from 8 – 8:30 am.
  • Seniors, don’t forget to schedule your yearbook photos with Lifetouch Prestige Studios. There is a list of seniors who have not taken their photos outside W100 and E260 & the Go Center. The deadline is before Thanksgiving break.
  • This week is Freedom Week. Make sure to look for our patriotic decor and food throughout the week. Join us to enjoy some of the fruit that will be enthusiastically prepared by our staff which will represent our patriotic colors.
  • If you are interested in a letterman jacket, Texas Chenille will be visiting our campus.
  • The Go-Center has the following colleges coming this week. If you need a pass, some are still available.
  1. Monday – Oral Roberts University – 11 am
  2. Tuesday – NMSU – Las Cruces – 3 pm
  3. Wednesday – Texas State University & UT Austin
  4. Thursday – Texas A&M will have 2 presentations 1pm & 2pm.
  5. Friday – US Coast Guard Will be here at 10:30 am
  • The cadets of our Franklin H.S. AFJROTC will be holding a cake-cutting ceremony at lunch on September 18th to celebrate the Air Force’s 72nd birthday. Everyone is welcome to attend.
