Cougar Cross-Country is strides ahead of their opponents with the season heating up as the Cougars head into regionals.

The girls team won their district meet overall and is now gearing up to head into regionals in late November.

The team is composed of mostly underclassmen with Junior Eva Jess leading the charge.

Jess took the top honors district with an overall time of 17:45.44.

The boys team came in third overall at regionals with Senior Fernando Morales placing second overall with a time of 15:49.52.
